English composers vs British[edit]

Looking at this page of 20th century "British" composers, I spotted seeming gaps but then there are 500 or so 20th century "English" composers where I found the ones I was looking for. But there also seem to be overlaps. Should these categories be clearly defined to avoid confusion? Wiki filbert (talk) 18:19, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
