- Do not include articles exclusively about North or South Korean expatriates in this category. Koryo-saram are the people from the 1937 forced deportations and their descendants.
- Koryo-saram people articles should not go directly in this category; use Category:Koryo-saram people and/or more specific categories such as Category:Kazakhstani people of Korean descent.
