Basfar (Persian: باسفر, also Romanized as Bāsfar, Ba Safar, and Bāsfor; also known as Bāsfowr Naşrābād)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Astaneh Rural District[4] of the Central District of Roshtkhar County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,553 in 872 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,870 people in 1,064 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,917 people in 1,131 households.[2]
