Allan Children’s Foundation is a non-governmental organization helping the vulnerable children in Uganda. It was founded in 2019 and is based in East Africa (Uganda, Wakiso District).[1] The foundation's mission is to look out for the orphan children who are misplaced, abandoned and abused through providing shelter, food, education and clothing.

History[edit]

Allan Children’s Foundation was founded by Allan Kato in 2019.[2] As of September 2023, over 1000 children were receiving education through the foundation projects.[3]

Mission[edit]

Allan Children’s Foundation’s motto, ‘Empowering lives through Education’, reflects its mission to address issues of poverty, healthcare, through improvements in access to and quality of education, with a focus on Uganda’s younger generations.[1] Allan Children Foundation projects focus beyond basic educational services in order to maximise participation in a range of areas and encourage children to explore their own interests and curiosities.[2][4]

Official objectives[edit]
