Abbasabad (Persian: عباس اباد)[a] is a village in, and the former capital of, Rahmat Rural District of Seyyedan District, Marvdasht County, Fars province, Iran.[4] The capital of the rural district has been transferred to the village of Kareh Tavi.[5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 602 in 145 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 666 people in 188 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 698 people in 210 households.[2]
