The 2023 season is FC Seoul's 40th in the K League 1. The club also participated in the 2023 edition of the FA Cup, being knocked out on the third round. A defeat in the FA Cup Final and a 9th place finish on 2022 means the club does not participate in the 2023-24 AFC Champions League.
