Fake refs

Regarding Awans of Pakistan, if you persist in reinstating fake references, unattributed copy/pastes etc to articles which in any case duplicate existing articles then you will find yourself blocked. Even if you were right about the content (which you are not), you should be inserting it at Awan (tribe). - Sitush (talk) 12:04, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

I am already watching your talk page so keep the discussion at one place. Pixarh (talk) 14:50, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

Sanctions

Repeated disruptive behaviour, as you are pursuing at Awans of Pakistan is subject to general sanctions. Please note the information below. - Sitush (talk) 15:07, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

Misrepresentation of sources

Pixarh, while it is understandable that an editor new to the subject area will not realize that blogspot, pages (with content copied from wikipedia) or Rose's book are not reliable sources, the way you misrepresented Encyclopedia Britannica in your article draft (which you repeatedly reverted back to) is less excusable. If you have questions about sources I would recommend that you ask at WP:RSN, but if you misrepresent sources again (either willfully or because you don't realize the error), you will be banned from the subject area or blocked from editing wikipedia. Abecedare (talk) 20:52, 11 September 2015 (UTC)

It is sometimes very disappointing when administrators are seen siding a party based on personal interaction and not taking a neutral approach especially in cases of reliability of sources which is openly clarified in WP:RS. Why would you warn me for blocking if I may ask, for writing an article Awans of Pakistan, citing sources and defending an unjustified redirect?[1] The diffs of reverts have edit summaries "Revert only after discussion". I told him clearly to consider a merger proposal or a redirect discussion but that never happened. I even approached the talk page of both articles to discuss the matter with him as well as his own talk page. To avoid discussion, he chose to threaten me with sanctions. I never reverted after that because discussions are better than reverts although I explained the differences in both articles and cited sources even at the talk page of both articles to avoid misinterpretation.[2] It is evident that Sitush has forced a replacement of Awans of Pakistan to Awan (tribe)(an article already lacking verification of resources since last year and a disputed article [3]) so after everything it is now pointless explaining anything to you now that you have taken your decision as admin. Pixarh (talk) 05:27, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

There was nothing to merge, so a merger proposal would have been pointless. This has been explained to you already but still you seem not to understand. - Sitush (talk) 10:51, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

I understand which is why I undid my move for deletion tag which I had placed earlier and replaced it with notability so the editor (you) could improve it. If you wish to contribute more to Wikipedia in terms of the field you have specified, you still need to acquaint yourself with five pillars, policies and guidelines and what Wikipedia is not. Without having considerate knowledge about these, you cannot give significant input in accordance to the encyclopedia requirements. Pixarh (talk) 19:42, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

Hi Pixarh,

I was about to add more citations when I noticed you had deleted my article on Tatiana Pavlova. Can you tell me what part(s) you consider advertising? I'd like to rewrite, if possible, and re-submit. Thank you.Whatanarchivist (talk) 19:48, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

@Whatanarchivist The rationale for speedy deletion was that the article was entirely promotional, significantly because it was not written in compliance for an encyclopedic content. If the subject (Tatiana Pavlova) is notable, then the content can be replaced with neutral point of view being used. That said, the sourcing, notability, and verifiability of the article is questionable. There are grounds for significant improvement. You can still re-write it and add citations to the article. For that you might first acknowledge yourself with verifiability and know how to write your own articles as well as how to improve your articles.Pixarh (talk) 20:14, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

HI, If you see this article [4] , this man is member in Iraqi Kurdistan Parliament.
Must he has article in wikipedia
If you see members in Parliaments of Asia ,Europe and America all have articles in wikipedia
Kurdistantolive (talk) 08:06, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

@Kurdistantolive The article you refer to is only an article which is linked to it but the question is about the article itself. If you believe that Birzo Majeed is notable then provide references to the stub article. You must first understand what Wikipedia is not. If you require help that is a different story but I recommend that as a beginner, do not proceed without reading the pages I have mentioned above. Pixarh (talk) 14:27, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

I see you added th multiple issue tag but as far as the sources are conerned there are no more sources. Lokaas12 18:23, 25 October 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lokaas12 (talkcontribs)

Dear Lokaas12. Yes that's because the article contains no references except the external links. That's fine for now. But you should try to find more references related to this maybe a published news. Any third party source and reliable source would be fitting for this article.Pixarh (talk) 18:39, 25 October 2015 (UTC)

Faiza Hassan

Hi there Pixarh, I saw your deletion. It was actually a couple of my mistakes which may have led you to think it was promotional. Firstly, I created a page with the name "Fazia Hassan" whereas her real name is "Faiza Hassan". Secondly, I confused her with the actress Resham. Another reason while it may seem promotional is that there is very less data on the actress "Faiza Hassan", hence I was unable to find more sources for citation, but in no way was it intended to be promotional or anything. I hope to find more sources if I can and create a correct page. Thank you for your time! -rudvedic — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rudvedic (talkcontribs) 17:29, 1 November 2015 (UTC)

Hello my friend Pixarh, thank you so much for your support. As you have noted, I am not that well-versed with Wikipedia major editing. Hence I usually stick to minor edits, but seeing "Faiza Hassan"'s page empty, I decided to do it in the best possible way what I could. Few of my previous major edits may have had references issues, but I try to keep them correct. It would be really helpful if you could help me! As you have seen I just want to create a page for the real "Faiza Hassan". Should I send you the links I have found till now or something? It's not the easiest thing for me to edit like this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rudvedic (talkcontribs) 17:54, 1 November 2015 (UTC)

Thanks so much for your help and understanding dear Pixarh! I cannot thank you enough. I hope to follow the instructions and see a fine page Wikipedia worthy soon. Speedy deletion declined: Vyavastha

Hello Pixarh. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Vyavastha, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Speedy deletion declined, for technical reasons: this article is about a film, not a person or an organization. Please do consider other speedy deletion rationales, or perhaps noninate this at WP:AFD . Thank you. Shirt58 (talk) 10:17, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

@Shirt58 Thank you for informing. I thought it met A7 because "organization (for example, a band, club, or company, not including educational institutions)". But thank you for clarifying. The article has been put up for PROD by some other editor as "film with no claim of importance". Pixarh (talk) 17:25, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Fazal Qureshi

Hello Pixarh. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Fazal Qureshi, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Being the son and brother of people notable enough to have articles is enough for A7, plus the claims of a unique style. There's not enough to pass the GNG, and I'm going to BLPPROD it as it's unsourced. Thank you. GedUK  13:31, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

Okay. Sounds great. Thank you. Shall be more particular about deletion rationales. Pixarh (talk) 17:29, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion declined: Chatar Jatra

Hello Pixarh, thanks for your information. I decline the deletion of Chatar jatra as it is one of the oldest and ancient culture of western Odisha. I agree the sources are not enough but if you can go through the article and reserch on it then you may come to know how rich it is interms of culture. In one side the world is about to forget it's old culture and this is really an awsome and oldest ritual of India. Thank you.User:Dksats —Preceding undated comment added 18:16, 6 November 2015 (UTC)

@User:Dksats, if you agree that the sources of your created article are not good enough, you must provide more references which are per WP:RS. I have reviewed your article and have pointed out what lacks in your article. You should defend your article by improving it instead of removing PROD. If you are certain and claim that it is infact the oldest ritual of India, you must verify that in your article. Sooner or later, your article can get deleted by any experienced editor. If you need help, let me know. Pixarh (talk) 17:21, 8 November 2015 (UTC)

John Hope-Johnstone Photographer delete

When I write that JHJ was a distinguished photographer, that is because in my humble opinion JHJ was a distinguished photographer. It is therefore simply and obviously false to assert that the stub of an article does not indicate why he was important or noteworthy. If you don't like it delete it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Optymystic (talkcontribs) 18:50, 6 November 2015 (UTC)

@Optymystic Unfortunately, WP:NPOV is a fundamental principle of Wikipedia. Opinions have no weight over here but facts do and only those which can be verified by reliable third-party sources. This is the reason for the deletion tag. Your subject may be important but that needs to be clarified within the article by providing sources. To understand which kind of sources should they be, read WP:Third party sources. And please do not think that it is because "I dont like it". :) This does not happen here at Wikipedia. Most editors here want to maintain a factual encyclopedia that's all. If you require help, please let me know. Pixarh (talk) 17:29, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
