Hi there! First of all, Hello and Welcome to Wikipedia. I am sending you this message to explain a little bit more about our encyclopedia: our goal is to remain neutral, and free of advertising. Therefore, we enforce a strong neutral point of view policy, that is also taken into account for 2 other major guidelines, our anti advertisement guideline and our conflict of interest guideline. Content must also be covered in depth by reliable, secondary sources.

And is it also considered a bad idea to write about yourself or your company ;).
