DYK for Cholodny-Went model[edit]

On 7 July 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Cholodny-Went model, which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that, according to the Cholodny-Went model, the roots of plants grow downward and the shoots grow towards light because of the plant hormone auxin? If you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.
