There is a proposal for a merge of certain information in the article Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) to the Steven Emerson article, and then deletion of the IPT article because there is no such entity. The article was created and includes information based on the pretext that the Investigative Project on Terrorism actually existed as a non-profit entity. It did not, and still does not. What did exist is Steven Emerson's think-tank, The Investigative Project, and Steven Emerson as a CNN reporter and later as an independent terrorism expert. He founded the Investigative Project on Terrorism FOUNDATION years later - April 2006 - which is the only official non-profit foundation organized legally. Unfortunately, editors are trying to combine all of Emerson's past work as a CNN reporter, and individual terrorism expert (dating back to the Oklahoma City bombing and before) into one big hodge podge of inaccuracies in the current article, IPT. Please read the discussion at Talk:Steven_Emerson#Merge and delete the IPT article. Thank you in advance. AtsmeConsult 18:33, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

Hello. You may be interested in looking at Benjamin Moore Norman, which is a rough translation from the Spanish article that I requested. The prose needs to be improved and more referenced info added, but I think this is a good place to start, and I thought you might be interested, as Affleck wrote in an almanac published by this person. See the talkpage as well. Thank you.Zigzig20s (talk) 09:46, 5 July 2014 (UTC)

Ah, God, Drmies, I can't deal with it right now. Too much, too much. Good luck to you, though, as I'm sure your cause is just, as it always has been in my experience.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 17:16, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
You alright, Alf? Drop me a line if I can help. Drmies (talk) 17:34, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
Oh, sorry to be ambiguous! No, I'm fine. It's Wikipedia that's too much for me right now, and this is just the kind of thing that's much too much. I'm sure later I'll feel more up for the fray and back I'll be, but for now real life is too attractive... at least what passes for real life in these parts. Thanks for the barnstar, by the way. Coming from you it means a lot.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 17:36, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
You know, there's a pretty good (non-franchise) pizza place two blocks from the Academy. We can have lunch there if you like. I think they have half-priced beer on Sunday. Drmies (talk) 17:46, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
Ah, yeah... if I'm going to travel 2000 miles to Alabama, we're getting barbecue, not pizza. Which may happen some day. I do spend a little time out there now and again. I'll drop you a line!— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 17:53, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
I look forward to that, Alf: Dreamland it is. Hey, next time you make pizza, put BBQ pork or chicken on it, with some sliced red onion and jalapeno, and BBQ sauce instead of tomato sauce--make you wanna slap your baby brother. Dennis Brown will approve. Drmies (talk) 18:00, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
If done right, BBQ pizza ranks up there with hot wing pizza. Dennis - 18:15, 29 October 2014 (UTC)

Hello. It's been archived from your talkpage, but I think you mentioned an article which would bring more info about Thomas Affleck of the Glenblythe Plantation. I'd still be happy to read it. Thank you.Zigzig20s (talk) 00:19, 30 October 2014 (UTC)

If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Now that I'm in charge all is well: racism is over, there is no more harassment, and we're deleting a thousand K-pop articles per day by executive fiat. It's a brave new world! Also, it's getting kind of boring without you bringing up interesting topics. Happy new year, and I hope to see you around. Drmies (talk) 04:44, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

Wikipedia Wars and the Israel-Palestine conflict...please fill out my survey?

Hello :) I am writing my MA dissertation on Wikipedia Wars and the Israel-Palestine conflict, and I noticed that you have contributed to those pages. My dissertation will look at the process of collaborative knowledge production on the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the effect it has on bias in the articles. This will involve understanding the profiles and motivations of editors, contention/controversy and dispute resolution in the talk pages, and bias in the final article.

For more information, you can check out my meta-wiki research page or my user page, where I will be posting my findings when I am done.

I would greatly appreciate if you could take 5 minutes to fill out this quick survey before 8 August 2021.

Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and anonymous. There are no foreseeable risks nor benefits to you associated with this project.

Thanks so much,

Sarah Sanbar
