Marc Geddes is Senior Lecturer in Politics at the University of Edinburgh School of Social and Political Science.[1]

In March 2021 he was awarded the W. J. M. Mackenzie award of the Political Studies Association for the best book published in political science during 2020, for his monograph "Dramas at Westminster: Select Committees and the Quest for Accountability", published by Manchester University Press.[2] The judges described the book as "highly engaging, original and rigorously researched", adding "The book will be a key reference point for Parliamentary Studies".[3]
