Lack of international agreement.[edit]

North America seems to have their own "World Standard Day" both the US and Canada seem to have their day. October 12th. Though I came to the wiki page looking for info on it, so I think I'm the wrong person to write the article. GryphonTamer (talk) 21:43, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Canada's dates seem to shift around. They did observe it on the 12th in 2012, but that could have been because the actual date fell on a Sunday; it's not too unusual to shift observances in that kind of situation. OTOH, the Canadian date shifts around in other years too; in 2018 they observed it on the 4th. [1]
For 2024, the USA is observing "Celebration of World Standards Day" on November 14.[2] 110.23.152.248 (talk) 08:36, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
