A fact from Wandsworth Shield appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 7 October 2010 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the Wandsworth Shield(pictured) has a repoussée design of two large birds with outstretched wings and trailing tail feathers, and is considered to be a masterpiece of British Celtic art?
Wouldn't this be an example of La Tène style...[edit]
...as are the other shields this article mentions? I'm basing that on the shields' own articles, which state they are of La Tène style.
