I'm just trying to edit the stub.. William Hugh Woodin is William Hartman Woodin (the Secretary of the Treasury)'s GREAT-grandson, not grandson. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.139.179.53 (talkcontribs) 04:27, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Whoops, my bad. I was going on memory. Do you have a source? (We could use one.) --Trovatore 04:40, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Umm.. I don't know if this (http://www.red2cre8.com/oakey/WC01/WC01_006.HTM) counts, but you see William Hartman Woodin had a son William Hartman Woodin II (who's actually dead, not 107 like the website says!) who had William Hartman Woodin III, and he didn't like that Hugh would have been the 4th, so he kept the initials and named him William Hugh Woodin. Sorry, I'm Hugh's daughter so thats the only reason I know! haha, thanks so much!
It would be lovely, if you could add Hugh's birthday. Kope 07:19, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't actually know what it is. (If I did, from my own knowledge, theoretically I wouldn't be supposed to add it unless I could find a reference, though in my opinion that's getting a little overly picky.) --Trovatore 06:10, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Trovatore, I asked that from the user on 71.139.179.53, who claims to be Hugh's daughter. Or was that a joke? Kope 08:45, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I added it (diff IP, same person as before), sorry I didnt see this forever.

I added some details about Hugh's recent mathematics and philosophical views based on his lecture and personal discussion yesterday at Mittag-Leffler Institute. I will be able to add better references later on. -Vadik —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vadik (talkcontribs) 12:41, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
