I find some problems with this article. ( Transcutanous should read Transcutaneous ?)

Firstly, the accuracy of a particular statement must be queried: " The Zoll defibrillator & other machines used for cardioversion and defibrillation can be used for transcutanous pacing". To my knowledge there is not a defibrillator known as "the Zoll" (although Paul Zoll was one of the pioneers of the defibrillator). Further, and to the best of my knowledge, there does not exist any "machine" which combines the capability for both defibrillation and transcutanous pacing - but I might be wrong !

Actually, ZOLL Medical Corp. does manufacture a monitor/defibrillator/pacer (M series and E series). However, there was no reason for this article to mention ZOLL by name, so I removed the reference to the ZOLL machine. MoodyGroove 02:58, 22 February 2007 (UTC)MoodyGroove[reply]

As the subject matter of the article is better described by the articles Defibrillation and (artificial) Pacemaker, I suggest the article Transcutanous Pacing should be nominated for deletion.Geoffrey Wickham 02:55, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. In my opinion, defibrillation has nothing to do with TCP and the pacemaker article will eventually have to be broken up. It doesn't even have the NBG pacemaker code in the article yet, and the programming section is virtually nonexistant. TCP is an ACLS therapy for symptomatic bradycardia, so it has stand alone merit.
