It is strange that this article on Thiruchengodu downplays the Velavar temple even though it seems to be far more important and historic than the later day Arthanaareesvara temple. Velavar temple seems to be more than 2000 years old and seems to be mentioned in ancient texts and it is obvious neduvelkuntram mentioned in silappatigaram means velavar rather than arthanaaresvarar? and many historic items regarding velavar are omitted? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 103.18.127.98 (talk) 11:21, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
