Specify "12 demands"[edit]

The article makes an reference to Occupy Chicago's twelve demands, but they are neither specified in the Chicago Tribune article nor the Wiki itself. Even the OccupyChi.org website currently seems surprisingly quiet on the subject. Unless a succinct list can be presented and/or cited, I suggest removing the fact that a list of "demands" has been articulated. Rlconkl (talk) 11:58, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I see references to the 12 demands in other news articles on the internet. I will attempt to add references. Those news organizations directly reference the Occupy Chicago web site main page. AJM — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fourwindswi (talkcontribs) 23:29, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thompson Center[edit]

Is there any evidence that the police responded as the article says they did? I can't find a reference, nothing in the news, and when I asked some of the Occupy protesters, they knew nothing about it. --Freeyourmind775 (talk) 05:22, 10 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here is a reference.. I'll add it in to the article too http://timeoutchicago.com/things-to-do/chicago-blog/15003505/state-police-disrupt-occupy-chicago-vigil-eyewitness-report Itslenny (talk) 22:09, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fresh Data[edit]

I've added some fresh stuff about the main encampment. Sorry some of it isn't sourced, but I did find a good summary of the "WE ARE THE 1%" sign fiasco.--Factchk (talk) 21:10, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merge Suggestion[edit]

I want to delete this merge suggestion, it seems to me that Occupy Chicago is its own well-documented entity with a reasonable amount of autonomy, and that merging together local "Occupy" pages would create a ridiculous burden on the single central page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Groupuscule (talkcontribs) 19:38, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rtnews template[edit]

I've removed the Russia Today news template from the page, as it had raised concern because it pointed to a single trending news page, rather than a selection of trend pages, and after discussion in the appropriate places, it's easier to remove it than it is to add lots of other trend pages, as I don't know of any (don't have time to look). If there are any comments, concerns, or suggestions please reply on my talkpage, as I don't watch this page. Penyulap 03:46, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not gonna lie...[edit]

This whole page seems like one big advertisement for the movement. It doesn't seem very encyclopedic to me. --Kevin W./TalkCFB uniforms/Talk 06:13, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
