This article should probably be merged with the Transdermal implant article. Essentially microdermals ARE transdermals, just far more simple in design and procedure. Edgeofdefeat (talk) 15:33, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Edge[reply]


No, I disagree. Microdermals are an evolved version of transdermals and shouldn't be confused as the same thing. It can be mentioned in each article that they have similiarities.ScarTissueBloodBlister (talk) 23:03, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You also seem to agree that they are not exactly the same thing, they are not exact synonyms. ScarTissueBloodBlister and Edgeofdefeat, would you mind adding a few words to the merged article to clarify exactly what the distinction is? (If there turn out to be *lots* of differences, it's fairly easy to WP:SPLIT up the merged article back to the original two separate articles).
You both seem to agree that microdermals are a kind of transdermal implant, so I merged the two articles.
