Jake Barton- Local ProjectsJake Barton – do not want to include name of company with name of person. Dcarofano24 (talk) 16:12, 18 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment the article doesn't seem to be about the person, rather it seems to be about the organization. -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 04:57, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Done: for now I've moved the stub to the title Jake Barton because the previous title was malformed (and a bot had given it a DEFAULTSORT of "Project, ..."), and because the article creator has requested this. I agree that it seems to be more about the company, and perhaps the material should be in an article about the company - I've created a redirect from Local Projects to this article, and linked the company name where it appears in National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Cleanup needed[edit]

Almost all the information in the text of this article is about "Local Projects", not "Jake Barton", WP:NOTABILITY is not inherited, and the statements of notability are about the organization, not the person, so WP:COATRACK. This article is not carrying WP:REFERENCES, but carries a large number of external links separated into sections, seemingly a WP:LINKFARM. -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 04:57, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I agree - and although I think the man may well be "notable", we need explicit sources to support this and to show where the date of birth, education, etc have been found. @Dcarofano24: please provide proper sources. I'll remove the section of ELs which is all about the 9/11 museum - if appropriate at all they should be in that article, now linked from this. Thanks. PamD 15:07, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Understand. This is my first time building an article, getting used to the format. Working on cleanup and reformatting this page. Thank you. @PamD
