Marketing Budget[edit]

There should be a section on the marketing budget. Advertising/Promotion/Publicity can apprently oftentimes be as much as the production costs, it would be nice to have some data on that. Perhaps John Carter could be added to the examples. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.143.116.52 (talk) 14:58, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Currency and value issues[edit]

in the "Elements" paragraph, the pricing ranges are given in rs. (indian rupees??) which - implies that these numbers are only valid for film productions in India and quite strongly differ from those in the USA or Europe and - are given in a currency that strongly varies against the US Dollar and EURO.

Therefore it would be nice to have Dollar and Euro values that are typical for American and European film productions —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.194.107.168 (talk) 14:59, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Prints and advertising[edit]

This article should include information on "prints and advertising" budgets too. Perhaps someone who's invested in this article can improve it by adding pertinent information. ask123 (talk) 21:07, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Avoiding filming in famous areas[edit]

While there’s a good chance that filming on the Bay Bridge is cheaper than the Golden Gate Bridge when productions are doing similar levels of interference, putting the reason for it as economic loss to the city of San Francisco seems wrong when the Bay Bridge carries over twice the volume of traffic that the Golden Gate Bridge does and filming on the Golden Gate Bridge is fairly limited in what kinds of interference it can cause (https://www.sfgate.com/sf-culture/article/90s-boy-band-scaled-Golden-Gate-Bridge-17019193.php) Fossore (talk) 21:17, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
