Untitled[edit]

It is incorrect to call Unite the "biggest" "private sector" union. Unite is not a private-sector union, but one which organizes most greatly within private industry and this is where most of its membership are based. However, Unite has a large NHS contingent including most NHS biomedical and pathology staff, plus Health Visitors.

Communist Party membership[edit]

Simpson was a member of the CPGB, and remained so until the party wound up in 1991. He was never a member of the CPB. Therefore, I have removed the category "Communist Party of Britain" members" from this article. Troublemaker1949 (talk) 12:48, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
