Slavery & Public Works[edit]

Since this page is likely read having linked from the Civilization page, it might be worth mentioning two of the most interesting ways that CTP different from Civ, that being Slavery and the use of Public Works instead of Workers.

Warfare

Also, it's important to note the differences in warfare between the two series. CTP allowing stacks of units to attack at once, instead of the 1 vs 1 system of the official games, and the usage of unconventional warfare units such as spies, infectors, clerics and lawyers to cripple other civilizations

Fair use rationale for Image:War Walker2.jpg[edit]

Image:War Walker2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Contrast to MicroProse/Firaxis games[edit]

I think more needs to be done here to distinguish C:CtP from those "other" Civilization games. The Pollution, Happiness and Wonders sections sound as if this game is virtually identical to the others in those areas, so why bother describing them here? Focus on the ways that it is different/improved/misguided, etc. One aspect that is barely even mentioned is the futurist aspects, both science fictional and fantastic. 12.233.146.130 (talk) 20:39, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What really needs to be done is to state clearly that Civ: Call to power has very little to do with Sid Meier's Civ. CTP is in fact based on the board game (and contrary to common belief Sid's game is not). --Tomhell (talk) 02:03, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reception[edit]

Surely there must be some internationally more notable sources for reception than a review in a Finnish magazine, which currently takes up the majority of this section? 62.78.230.2 (talk) 15:41, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
