The concept of celebrity-industrial complex seems not to have been broadly integrated within academic work (most citations are related to reviews of Orth's book or simply mention the concept without elaborating much on it), so I am not sure how relevant a complete article on the concept would be and whether Wikipedia's relevance criteria would be met. I would suggest to move this article to a new article on The Importance of Being Famous and explain the concept within the context of the book. --Arbraxan (talk) 22:11, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
