Significant Original Reseach/NPOV[edit]

The second and third paragraphs contain no citations whatsoever and make rather significant claims. I'm going to delete them and someone can feel free to add them back when that editor can also add citations and a more balanced take on the subject, instead of basically arguing for the abolition of the best evidence rule, which is exactly what those two paragraphs are doing.99.30.13.201 (talk) 18:21, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Original research[edit]

This article still has issues. There are citations but the quotes from these sources do not mention the subject of this article: Best Evidence Rule. Instead they appear to be examples of the BER per the opinion of the editor that inserted them. That's POV and personal opinion. What we need are sources that discuss BER and its iterations and examples. Do we have a source like that?--KeithbobTalk 19:16, 12 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've rewritten the article, added citations and removed the clean up tags.--KeithbobTalk 16:47, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
