Overall great start, needs more about significant historic structures built with the mud bamboo technique. A map of the region would also be helpful for readers who are now as familiar with the geography. On that note, it would be helpful to have hyperlinks that bring reader to more information about the political history. A coupe of other questions for future writing: Are there different variations of the bamboo mud wall technique? How have they been preserved? Looking forward to checking it out in a couple of weeks!

Instructor comments[edit]

Your peer reviewer has made some good points. I would add that the references should be better integrated into the text with footnotes, and there should be a larger perspective of how the bamboo mud wall system is integrated with adjacent structural elements to create a building; e.g., is it placed on a foundation? Is it set in a timber frame? How does it support the roof? Elizabeth Linden Rahway (talk) 12:50, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

author response[edit]

will add example later! I find historic background may use the links to other wiki articles, so I think I won't put maps here. There are some hyperlinks already but I sure will add more. Will dive into variation and preservation, this is surely my focus here. overall, thanks. And by mentioning its construction, I will draw a larger picture too, to illustrate its relationship to the whole structure. I do wish I have time though!.Wagram Qizhang Pimlico (talk) 04:24, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
