Name Too Long[edit]

The article name is too long, it should be shortened--Infestor (talk) 12:01, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?[edit]

I'm considering proposing an article merge; specifically, merging this article into the article on EAP technology. It's doubtful anyone is going to be looking for the "Armwrestling Match of EAP Robotic Arm Against Human" (or even its acronym) unless they got here through the EAP article anyway; with its extremely long title and limited focus, this article would better serve as a section on the electroactive polymer article, particularly as the event demonstrated the limitations of the technology at that time. (A purpose-built robotic limb being "easily defeated" by a teenager certainly demonstrates that as of 2005, EAPs were not showing much in the way of "muscular" strength, and muscles are what the technology is being proposed to emulate in robotics.)
