MLS season article naming convention[edit]

I was perusing the MLS articles and noticed that there really wasn't a convention on how the season articles should be named, so I started a discussion on the USA/Canada Footy Wikiproject. If you with to join in the discussion, you may do so here. Thanks! --Bobblehead (rants) 21:35, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template for Standings in season pages[edit]

I've created a template for the MLS Table to be used on club's season pages- the Template can be found here this is an exmample of what it looks like on a season page KCW if you want to use it you simply must add this ""2009 major league soccer season table|team=TFC"" contained within {{}}.Morry32 (talk) 16:51, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template Switcheroo[edit]

I've replaced this article's usage of Template:fb rs with Template:fb rs mls. I created "fb rs mls" based on a long winded consensus discussion regarding W-D-L vs. W-L-T formatting. Hopefully this transition will cause little to no pain for the editor(s) of this article. Thanks! --SkotywaTalk 21:40, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Switching results table format[edit]

Is it alright if I change the results table format used in this article to the format used in the other team season articles. I just finished converted the Kansas City Wizards season article to the schedule format, so you can see it there. This article is the last team season article that doesn't use the format and it will make maintaining all of the MLS team season articles easier as we'll just be able to update the results on one article and then copy the results to the result table of the other article. --Bobblehead (rants) 01:00, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you would like to switch it over so all the articles are the same go for it i'm ok with anything that improves the articles. --Hodj222 (talk) 19:43, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I hope the editors of this page are cool with this. I've added a location parameter to the box score template such that it will collapse better will still preserving the City, State, Country info along with the Stadium. The goal is to further minimize the need for scrolling on season pages. If you don't like it, feel free to revert. Thanks! --SkotyWATalk|Contribs 22:29, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
