Crowd size?[edit]

The article mentions 25,000 people. It seems unusual to have a stampede in a crowd of that size kill 100 people. Seems almost impossible. Can someone confirm these numbers? Jeff Carr (talk) 15:36, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
