Wynn Al Marjan Island (Arabic: جزيرة وين المرجان) is an under-construction integrated resort and casino by Wynn Resorts being built on Al Marjan Island in Al Jazirah Al Hamra, United Arab Emirates.[1][2][3] [4] [5]

History[edit]

Wynn Resorts broke ground on the property in 2023 and it is set to open in 2027. It will take up 47 hectares (115 acres) on Al Marjan Island.[6][7] In May of 2024, Wynn Resorts shared updated photo renderings of the property as well as a photo of the construction progress. Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the Middle East North Africa region and Wynn’s first seaside property. The structure is set to be topped out in the fourth quarter of 2025, about a year prior to it’s scheduled opening. [8]

Features[edit]

Wynn Al Marjan Island will encompass 520,000 square metres (5,600,000 sq ft) of space. It will contain a 20,800-square-metre (224,000 sq ft) casino, which will be the first casino in the United Arab Emirates. Despite taking up only 4% of the floor space, the casino will be larger than the one located at Wynn Las Vegas. Gambling is not yet legal in the United Arab Emirates. The resort will contain 1,542 guest rooms, suites and 22 villas. There will be 24 restaurants, a spa and a wellness center at the resort. A total of 11,000 square metres (120,000 sq ft) of retail space will feature high end stores. In terms of entertainment, there will be a 9,300-square-metre (100,000 sq ft) convention center as well as a theater. The skyscraper hotel will rise above 300 metres (1,000 ft).[9][10][11] [12]
