Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is currently 123.253.232.62. I am accessing the Internet via my ISP's network: MNC (Indonesia). My ISP does not assign public IP's, and actually my home router/gateway is assigned an internal IP address, so we are actually using CGNAT instead of anonymizer proxy. And I actually get different public IP addresses on different days. Therefore I believe this block may have been inadvertently made in error. So please consider unblocking this IP block, thank you. williampoetra (talk) 08:28, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

That IP address is a confirmed proxy. Yamla (talk) 12:43, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Your email[edit]

Since open proxies are favourite tools for vandalism, they are usually blocked on detection. To prevent the creation of vandal accounts, registered users operating from open proxies are blocked as well. Perhaps you might try using Tor (anonymity network) with the special settings outlined in Wikipedia:Advice to Tor users in China. // Pathoschild 21:08, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

OK, how should I reply to this? Can I do this by editing here? (I can edit my own talk page)
I'll try Tor, but not now ;) Thanks anyway :)
Yes, your talk page is on my watchlist. You're welcome. // Pathoschild 17:12, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've downloaded Tor (too lazy back then), but I find that Tor is blocked now. Using a proxy like the one I am using now, I can't edit pages. There is a suggestion to use HTTPS access, but the page doesn't display correctly (Firefox 1.5.0.1, Linux) (the left navbar is put way below).
