Since the NFL merger in 1970, the Pittsburgh Steelers have a combine regular season record of 444–282–2 (.635) and an overall record of 480-305-2 (.635) including the playoffs. The Pittsburgh Steeler have reached the playoffs 30 times, won their division 22 times, played in 16 AFC championship games, and won six of eight Super Bowls. The Steeler are the only NFL team not to have a season with 12 or more losses since the league expanded to a 16-game schedule in 1978.

Miller biggest influencer were Big L, Lauryn Hill, Beastie Boys, Outkast, and A Tribe Called Quest. He shares a close relationship with fellow Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa, stating "Wiz has been a big brother to me with this music thing so far. Our relationship is beyond music. He really is just my homie, whether I will be making music or not." The album that shaped Mac Miller rap career was Outkast "Aquemini" when he heard it at the age of 12 years old. it



North Campus[edit]

North Campus houses programs specializing in being a firefighters, police officers, and Emergency medical service personnel's. North campus also houses a School of Entertainment and Design Technology. This campus partners with Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) for engineering programs. The North Campus operates the Carrie Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center in Liberty City. The campus offers a Bachelor in Applied Science degree in Public Safety that is housed within the School of Justice.

1987–1995: Early years in Miami[edit]

In 1987 the NBA added four new teams one of them being the Miami Heat (the others being the Orlando Magic, Charlotte Hornets, and the Minnesota Timberwolves) and the Heat began play in November 1988. In the 1988 season (first year)the Miami Heat went 16-25, they finished last in that season. The Miami Heat began their early years with much mediocrity, only making the playoffs two times in their first eight years and losing in the first round both times.

Miami's rivalry with Florida dates back to 1938, making it the oldest rivalry among Florida's "Big Three" of Miami, Florida, and Florida State. in the first meeting between the school, The Hurricanes defeated the Gators, 19–7. The Seminole War Canoe was carved in 1955 out of a cypress struck by lightning and is given to the winner of the annual football game. . The Seminole War Canoe is permanent display at the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame on the Coral Gables campus.

Miami holds the edge in the all-time series with a 29–26 record against Florida. The two schools met every year from 1944 until 1987, but have not played regularly since then. Florida canceled the annual series after the 1987 season, when the requirement of the Southeastern Conference for member schools to play eight conference games induced the University of Florida to fill out the non-conference portion of its schedule with teams that do not require a home-and-home arrangement, except for Florida State.

From 1986 to 2003, Miami won all six of the games between the schools, including victories in the 2001 Sugar Bowl and the 2004 Peach Bowl. Florida snapped its 23-year drought against Miami with a 26–3 win over the Hurricanes in 2008. In 2019, the series resumed with Florida winning 24–20 in the Camping World Kickoff in Orlando, Florida.
