Production[edit]
Principal photography began at the start of October 2012, shooting for four weeks in Lorient. The production shot primarily at sea, including off the coast of Groix. It then moved to the Côte de Lumière, including Brem-sur-Mer and Les Sables-d'Olonne just before the start of the 2012–2013 Vendée Globe. Filming also travelled to the Canary Islands. In December, it returned to Lorient.[3][4]
