Joe Riley (One Life to Live)[edit]

Created/expanded by FrickFrack (talk). Self nom at 20:28, 30 October 2011 (UTC)

  • Article length and date verified. The proposed hook is not eligible due to the DYK rule which states: "If the subject is a work of fiction or a fictional character, the hook must involve the real world in some way." Something about the actor might work. - PM800 (talk) 01:01, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
  • OK, so you added the actors' names.[1] What I really meant was that the hook should be changed entirely. - PM800 (talk) 18:34, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
  • The new hook is not cited in the article. - PM800 (talk) 19:29, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
  • Now cited with a primary source. - FrickFrack 18:29, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
  • This one looks good. For future reference, when there is a problem with a proposed hook and it is replaced with a new hook, it is desirable to keep the original hook in the nomination template (but strike it out or add a "rejected" symbol) and propose the replacement later in the nomination as an "ALT" hook. It is exasperating (and it delays the review process) for a reviewer to have to dig through the page history to make sense of a discussion that was actually pretty straightforward. --Orlady (talk) 16:32, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
