chemical composition[edit]

There should be a fuller discussion of the chemical composition of red wine. MPS 00:06, 20 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

merge[edit]

Not sure there should be an article about red wine at all. Especially if it is just a very partial list. Maybe something very brief, but I dont see how it could be much more than a stub. Write something better and remove the list to convince me. Justinc 02:15, 26 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I now see that there is a lot of overlap between this and the article winemaking. Should they be merged? Bordeaux2000 10:47, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This article should only contain information that is unique to red wine. General information should be in the other articles. Entire books have been written just about red wine, so there is enough known information available for inclusion and citation. (Heroeswithmetaphors) talk 21:43, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not so much helpful 😞.............. Theabey (talk) 02:59, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A list of the different varieties of red wine and brief descriptions of them would be helpful.

Slothrating[edit]

This word occurs towards the bottom of the article in Red Wine. Has anyone ever heard of this term? Google threw up nothing. Jelf0 (talk) 15:32, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Given that the sentence it was included in was incomplete itself (and that I found no sources on how exactly the climate matters when choosing the type of press), I've just removed the sentence entirely for now. Hopefully someone will know more about this than Google and correct it, but I doubt it. Bruberu (talk) 17:51, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
