Is this equation taken from Haynes (1970) Worldwide virtual temperatures for product stability testing, Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences 60(6), pp 927 - 929?

Also, what are the units associated with the gas constant in this equation? For example, the gas constant can be expressed as 8.3144621 J K−1 mol−1, for this equation, should it be expressed as 8.3144621 * 10 -3 kJ K-1 mol -1?

The units on R should be chosen to cancel with the units on delta H. If delH is J/mol, then choose R as 8.314 J/mol/K. Then, your units work out to K on top, which is what you want. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DallanP (talkcontribs) 22:28, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
