Merger proposal[edit]

While there exist over 50 articles on the individual Little Miss books, they are all currently in breach of WP:N, by failing to demonstrate any inherent notability of their own merit. While the parent Little Miss series is certainly notable, the individual articles all fail WP:N, WP:V and WP:FICT. The Little Miss as individual entities have simply not received enough significant coverage in reliable secondary sources to merit existence as more than a List of... article. The articles that do exist are largely devoid of content beyond very brief plot summaries, and lists of trivia. As such, I propose the existing articles are restored to redirect status, directing users to the relevant merged content on this page. Frickative 18:08, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I support a merge. Yngvarr (c) 20:32, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I fully agree & support a merge. Charlottiepants (talk) 21:08, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Having worked on those articles a while back, I realized that it was not easy to expand them with enough notable content. However the part of the articles that I do not favor are the plot summaries. The stories are too short and I do not think the whole story should be revealed. I would prefer teasers to spoilers. I would support a merger but it might get extremely long. There is already a list on the main page. Maybe the List of can be broken up in to series such as 1971 edition, 1972 edition, Adam Hargreaves, French-only for example. She is wise as an owl. Possibly two. This doesn't sound right for an encyclopaedia! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kayau (talkcontribs) 02:01, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Little Miss Bad section is inacceptable. By the way, I have put the copyediting thing here. I hope that will attract attention.Kayau (talk) 14:56, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Little Miss High-Speed Motorboat[edit]

I don't speak French, but I used BabelFish and tried to translate Little Miss Star's French Name(Madame Vedette) and I got "Mrs. High-Speed Motorboat"... I did the same thing to Little Miss Trouble(Madame Chipie) and I got "Mrs. Bitch"... Are you guys sure that the French Names are correct? --76.103.69.129 (talk) 05:17, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from 24.34.72.186, 10 May 2011[edit]

Please change “Dona” to “Doña” in each instance of the Spanish alternative titles under which they were said to be published because Miss translates to Doña in Spanish, and Dona means something else. For example: "Little Miss Scatterbrain" has been published under the alternative Spanish title "Doña Despistada", and not "Dona Despistada" as the article says. Another example: “Dona Timida” should be changed to “Doña Tímida”, etc.

Theory[edit]

I always wondered to myself why Little Miss Calamity never appeared in series 2. This is just a theory, but I think it's to avoid a clash with Little Miss Magic (same body and hair colours, you know). Anyone agree? Visokor (talk) 06:30, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Miss Magic's got a round body, and a yellow nose. TyrannoRanger (talk) 22:59, 23 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
