Name of article[edit]

I wonder if "Kincardine, Aberdeenshire" is the best name for the article. While what was Kincardine is now in the Aberdeenshire local authority, when it was an extant burgh it was not in the historic Aberdeenshire, but was in (as its name suggests) Kincardineshire (aka Mearns). It did not becom part of Aberdeenshire until the new county came into being in 1996. Thus calling the article Kincardine, Mearns or Kincardine, Kincardineshire might be a better option based on historical president. Also Kincardine and Mearns is a current district within Aberdeenshire (and is somtimes just called Kincardine) and at first glance it maybe that people assume that Kincradine, Abedeenshire refers to all or part of this district rather than the lost burgh. As Kincardine and Mearns district includes the historic site of the burgh, Kincardine, Kincardine and Mearns might also be an option for naming (although the double Kincardine could well confuse). Another possible might be Kincardine (historic burgh) I appreciate that this is difficult one due to the complexities and there is no perfect solution, but was just wondering out loud if a new name would be beneficial.
