Constance Oliver Skelton[edit]

According to WikiTree[1], she was Constance Oliver Hart, married in 1890 to Samuel Gissing Skelton, a solicitor. He usually appears as S. Gissing Skelton. He donated the block for the frontispiece to Gordons under Arms.[2] Apart from the fact that it was a long piece of research to produce vol. III of The House of Gordon, not so much seems to be known about her. At the beginning of vol.I, Bulloch wrote "Special thanks are due to Mrs. Skelton, who undertook the very laborious task of indexing the Poll Book and the Services of Heirs, besides making tedious transcriptions with rare accuracy for other parts of this volume."
