Auto insurance

I was in a really bad car accident on March 29, 2018 it was my fault, however I was life flighted to Chapel Hill hospital where they have a trauma team. I live in Richmond County, NC. I'm only here by God's grace and mercy, I had 3 surgeries in one week. I was there for 2 weeks and they only let me come home then because I would have someone with me 24/7, to get to my point my insurance went up by 80 dollars I never got a ticket but it was my fault, my insurance company "Nationwide jacked my insurance up from 122 dollars a month to 206 a month for 3 years because they had to pay Chapel Hill Hospital 3000 dollars for medical I think that's a shame because I've been paying insurance premiums for all these years and as soon as I needed them my insurance jumped up 80 more dollars a month. I would greatly appreciate it if something could be done to lower my monthly payment and still have full coverage because I have a car payment and I'm on Disability.
