Removing the word "essential"[edit]

I'm changing the line which reads: "Docosahexaenoic acid, an omega-3 essential fatty acid"

DHA is not essential, as evidenced by the fact that the body synthesizes it from EPA, and those who consume no DHA survive just fine. Using the word "essential" is just marketing BS. Even the Wikipedia article Essential fatty acid claims just 2 essential fatty acids (neither of which is DHA), and clearly lists DHA as a derived fatty acid.--65.0.192.82 (talk) 10:58, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
