  • reason for creating - Christopher Ferris was referred to on Hyperledger as a key Board of Governors member, and Chair of Technical Steering Committee of the foremost Blockchain project in the Linux Foundation. Ferris is therefore also a key person in the category "open source advocates" - the article still needs details, picture(s), etc. per WikiProject_Biography - which I am a brand new member of... @Smartse:, @The Mighty Glen:, @Polyamorph:, and @Daviding: please consider the argument for expanding WP:AUTHOR for WP:CREATIVE to include mention of creative people who are significant open source coders/programmers, contributors, committers, maintainers, and governance board members of open communities as notable people WP:BIO who are worthy of having a biography [WP:BIO] on Wikipedia. Also per WP:BIO "Special Cases" instructions, I am adding request for "cleanup biography" and more "expert needed" to Christopher Ferris article to continue improving it.
