Lyrics question[edit]

Why do the film version and Elton John version have so different sets of lyrics (with nothing except the 6-word phrase that is the title of the song in common)?? Georgia guy 19:31, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

One song was intended for the film, the other to be a freestanding pop music song. I imagine that some lyric changes were needed to make the song more accesible to those just wanted to hear an Elton John song. Blue Phoenix 20:36, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Neil Diamond?[edit]

I have a version of this song on my computer that is sang by Neil Diamond. I find no information about this song on this article. Does anyone know when this was song was made? Thanks. Manningmbd 18:26, April 8,2007 (UTC)

Broadway / Film versions[edit]

Disney Mania???[edit]

I just Googled "adam lambert disney mania," and nothing came up that was reliable. The track listing for Disney Mania 7, the next in the series, has been released, and he is not on it. Lambert does have a good voice, and I think it'd be cool to hear him do this song, but I seriously doubt he'll be picked by Disney to do so anytime soon. His orientation is not the issue - Clay Aiken was on one of these albums - but his music is often blatantly sexual (remember the AMAs?) so Disney probably wouldn't want to promote him on an album. Sing-Along Songs version?[edit]

There is a version of this song that is, to my knowledge, exclusively on the Disney Sing Along Songs VHS. It's a duet between a man and a woman, I've heard it's Domenick Allen and Terry Woods, but I'm not sure. Just putting it out there. -Minako-chan27 (talk) 22:19, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Personnel?[edit]

The article makes clear that the song appears twice in the movie, once during the animation and once during credits. Different singers are listed in the text of the article.
