Was there on 04-12-2010. The general dealer, petrol station and bar are all closed.

You're right, I noticed that when I took the picture. But the article says they're there, not they're open ;) Unfortunately neither you nor me are reliable sources, that's why I suggest we leave that information here on the talk page. Cheers, Pgallert (talk) 12:24, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's why I did not edit your article. Found an article in Republikein (an Afrikaans Namibian paper): Hotel's roof damaged by wind in 2005 and burnt down in 2006. No fuel since 2007. Described as a 'ghost town'

[1]

Maybe it should be mentioned?

My map said fuel at Asab and I was almost stranded, but luckily a man from Asab contacted a friend to supply us with fuel to get to Keetmanshoop. That is trivial information and does not belong in wikipedia, but I thought I could mention it on the talk page.

Hi Juhan, I think some info from that article can be incorporated, thanks for the link. --Pgallert (talk) 07:01, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
