Possible duplicate? Incorrect century of birth?[edit]

Time says that Khawas is 9th century, but it may in fact be the 16th century Sheikh, who died in 932 AH, not AD, that the pope, via Vitray-Meyerovitch, is quoting. The problem is that Vitray-Meyerovitch writes a biography of authors at the end of his book and she doesn't presents Ali al-Khawas (quoted in p.200) but Khawwas, Ibrahim Baghdadi.
