Hutchinson as a major candidate[edit]

As far as I know, most major news networks no longer cover his campaign. In the Iowa caucuses, he was not even mentioned in the vote count along Trump et al. His polling is below 1%. Binkley revisited[edit]

The Nevada caucus is today. It is a 1v1 between Trump and Binkley. It is possible Binkley reaches the ~4% needed for a delegate. Should Binkley win a delegate in Nevada, he should be considered a major candidate IMO. Colin.1678 (talk) 20:08, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think that South Carolina’s primary is on Saturday. Binkley and Stuckenburg are on the ballot, and Binkley is on the ballot in Michigan the following Tuesday. A week after that is Super Tuesday, and with the exception of Pence, everyone’s totals are going to balloon. At the risk of being WP:Crystal (I think that’s okay in the talk section), I expect that both will get tens of thousands of votes. Binkley should be redesignated as a major candidate because he has recieved media coverage from Fox

SD[edit]

Hi why is the table showing that SD's GOP primary is cancelled? I am unable to find any sources confirming this. I do not Know how to edit tables, or I would have fixed that. 162.213.23.84 (talk) 00:01, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The source linked here [1] says, "If a candidate is unopposed, that candidate will not be on the Primary Election ballot." If you do a search for "Presidential Candidate", Trump is the only Republican that submitted, so he won't be on the primary ballot. David O. Johnson (talk) 21:21, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
