I think we should add Ball Control to the list of American Football terminology.

It's a key concept that is utilized by teams from the pee-wee leagues all the way to the NFL.

A Ball Control offense uses a mix of plays designed to keep the clock running by picking up yards in chunks and making first downs. It is as much a defensive as it is an offensive philosophy in that the other team can't score on you if their offense isn't on the field.
