Overkill[edit]

What's the purpose for creating categories, such as Category:U.S. Highways in Ouray County, Colorado? Creating categories for items that will only ever have one entry is not helpful, unless I'm missing something. Dave (talk) 17:42, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Project[edit]

Hi I would suggest that you join Wikipedia:WikiProject Colorado instead of trying to create a new Wikipedia:WikiProject Western Slope. Not knowing the topic area, but knowing Wikipedia, I bet you are one of maybe two people that would ever edit in that particularly narrowly defined region, and WikiProjects require a fair number of users to really be successful (something like 10-15). I would suggest support WP Colorado, becuase looking at their project page there is plenty of work to be done already. Good luck and happy editing! Sadads (talk) 01:39, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the suggestion, you're probably right. I requested it's deletion. SkiVillage (talk) 02:21, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
