Ok you seem to have an issue with the "pop" part of the quote. You need to take this to the talk page where you can discuss your decision to remove this part of the quote and why you would like it removed. However, Avril uses the word "pop", and it's not a matter for debate as to what genre the album is or will be. That's an entirely different issue. iTunes, 7digital are NOT reliable sources for genres. They categorize by artist. Same as Allmusic does as well. How is Entertainment Weekly unreliable? Sources for genres are cited from critics who state the album is such and such. — Status (talk · contribs) 05:44, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

Hello! Thank you for your edit to Women in Punk Rock, I wanted you to know why I removed the section on Avril Lavigne that you placed at the top of the 2000s Decade section. It is because she is really a pop singer who has been referred to as pop-punk, and so she really does not represent the decade and I found the wording to be puffed-up, for example the wording "key musician", "paved the way", "the greatest female representative", "best represents", "fashion icon". (See WP:PUFF. Please do not take this personally, as it was done to maintain the integrity of this article, since it is not about Pop-punk which is really where she belongs.
