The Teatro Valparaíso was a theatre located in Valparaíso, Chile, which operated from 1937 to 1998, when it was demolished. Located on Valparaíso's Plaza Victoria, the theatre was notable for its art deco style of architecture, and was one of the first modern buildings in the city.

History[edit]

The theatre was inaugurated in January 1937.[1] Designed by Alfredo Vargas Stollar, the theatre had a capacity of 2,200 patrons.[1]

The theatre was demolished in 1998.
