I am an occasional wikipedian who has felt the need to fill this page prior to open a dispute resolution procedure. I use my real name as user name as a way to promote transparency in my occasional role as editor (I do believe anonymousness has become the cause of many problems in social networks and a total paradox as we are not any more in 1993 and nowadays many private and public organizations not only knows you are a dog in the Internet but also what is your breed and what dog food you eat (that said I understand wikipedians need to protect their identity in some places where being an editor is dangerous for your health).

I am a mathematician and computer scientist who evolved into a civil society, research-action player. My subjects of interests include Linguistic Diversity in the Internet, the Digital Divide, the Social Impact of the Internet,Virtual Community management, Information Ethics and Media and Information Literacy. I was born in Morocco, I am a French citizen, living, studying and working in Nice (France) until I moved to the Dominican Republic, in 1988, where I still live and work. I am a fervent supporter of the work of Wikimedia Foundation in favor of the digital commons and have written papers about it. I publish in French, Spanish or English and I am a true believer of multilingualism as the most important language in the world. I quoted myself and the likes who has started using intensively computer networks back in the 70's as a digital dinosaur (as a way to introduce a meaningful third category after digital natives and digital immigrants). I am a cat lover and a fisherman... which does help being loved by cats.
